On Sunday, July 21 at approximately 9 p.m. police noticed a woman standing outside a residence she frequents in Byram. who had an active warrant for her arrest for allegedly evading an accident June 10, Greenwich Police said.
During the investigation, she allegedly gave a false name to police to hide her identity, according to police.
Maria Hernandez, 47, of Port Chester, was then charged with subsequently charged with interfering with an officer/resisting, police said.
She was reportedly unable to post $250 bond and is due in Stamford court Monday, Aug. 5, according to Greenwich Police.
